Provenance, Docs & Compliance
This page explains what documentation we provide, why it matters, and what you can do with it. It is the core of the EchteCell value proposition.
The four document types — every batch
- Purchase record — evidence of where the cells came from. Without it, you cannot demonstrate provenance to your own downstream customers or to regulators.
- Manufacturer test report — the factory’s own test data for the batch.
- Independent re-test report — a third-party re-verification, so you are not relying on the seller’s word alone.
- UN38.3 + MSDS — the transport and safety documents you need to ship, install and insure cells legally.
Why documentation is a compliance asset, not a nice-to-have
As a system integrator, you carry legal obligations downstream — battery EPR, GPSR (for any consumer-facing product), and the requirements of your own tender documents. When you buy grey-market cells, you inherit the risk and none of the paperwork. When you buy documented cells, the documentation becomes a resellable compliance asset you can pass to your customer.
What we do not do
- We do not claim to be an authorized distributor of any manufacturer.
- We do not state specific test figures on this site — figures come from the manufacturer’s own datasheet, which we provide on request.
- We do not sell to consumers.
Independent reseller statement
EchteCell is an independent reseller. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by CATL, CALB, Hithium or any other cell manufacturer. Brand names and model numbers are used descriptively only.
